Created circa 1970 by Francisco Brennand (1927–2019), this enameled ceramic “egg” embodies the distinctive artistic language of one of Brazil’s greatest ceramic masters. Bearing the stamp of the “Oficina Brennand (Made in Brazil)” workshop, this historical piece belongs to the emblematic production of the Recife-based atelier, where Brennand developed a universe both symbolic and organic. The ovoid form, recurring throughout his work, alludes to the origin of life and the perfection of natural shapes. Measuring 13 × 8 × 8 cm, the piece unites the technical precision of glazing with a timeless sculptural presence.
