About the Item

Product Description: We offer here two salt shakers and a vase designed by Gunvor Olin-Grönqvist for Arabia Finland. All three items are part of the Köökki - series which consists of more items like cutting boards and salt boxes. The Köökki - series exists in brown color as well, the blue color seems to be most common. The Köökki - series consists of items to be used in the kitchen, the vase on offer here originally included a lid but this is missing (as such it can only be used as a vase). The seires is famous for its smooth rounded form and natural feeling organic painting. Gunvor Olin-Grönqvist worked her whole life for the Arabia factory and her work is inspired by nature. Animal-, plant- and fruits- representations appear frequently on her work. Her most famous designs include Fructus and Cosmos. Product Condition: It is important to note that the lid on the vase-like item is missing, it was designed as an oil can but can be only used as vase now. Also, the "vase" has some brown looking discoloration on its side. The discoloration looks like a crack but that is not the case. Other than the brown discoloration all the items are in very good condition.
