18th-century English Feather-edge Plain Creamware Large Plates, Set of Ten, Circa 1770's The large circular dinner plates are plain undecorated creamware with a molded feather edge. Marks: 2 with impressed "A". Dimensions: 10 inches Diameter x 1 inch high Provenance: Private Collection with Bardith, New York. Reference: Creamware and other English Pottery at Temple Newsom House, Leeds, Peter Walton, Page 143, #567 for two plates with the same border described as Staffordshire or Yorkshire. (Ref: NY10679-iimr)
