About the Item

Hand welded and ground Murano glass plate with an arrangement of polychrome murrines depicting numbers from zero to nine and nine to zero. Designed in 1975 and awarded during exhibition "New glass 79 survey" organized by Corning Museum of Glass (NY State) - This particular example from the first original serie of 100 pieces issued by Venini. Diamond point signature "Venini Italia 100/91" - Original Venini plastic Label. Very good original vintage condition - Newly made metal base. We are located in Belgium, we present Postwar decorative arts with an emphasis on Line Vautrin, French decorators (Adnet, Leleu, Jouve...) But also high end Murano glass (Venini, Barovier, Bianconi, Dino Martens, Alessandro Pianon).
