Origin Italy, circa 1970. The large glass plate is supported by a base metal structure. Clear glass with gray and red murine decoration and surrounded by a red string of glass. Murrina is a glass technique where different colors are combined to create a unique pattern resulting in a unique color combination that enhances the beauty of the glass. This decorative plate was made by one of the most well-known glassmakers in Italy. Luciano Vistosi is a glass-works producer who make their glass on the island Murano, next to Venice. All of their items, including this one, are hand-made. Unique Italian object in excellent condition.
