Hey there big dreamer. Your Fantasy just became a reality!!! You. Are. Welcome!!! Check out this stunning set of 10 Manhattan style glasses by Federal Glass Company. We believe this line is called “Fantasy,” as it is popularly referred to by many, but we could not find anything definitive in our extensive research. Some also reference this design as Atomic Amoeba and Boomerang with Biomorphic shapes and black and 22 Karat gold details. Either way, they will be the perfect addition to your dry bar, China cabinet, or at the breakfast nook filled with orange juice or your favorite beverage. They have a simple, stunning design and exude Mid-Century Modern excellence!!!
Federal Glass Company was founded in 1900 in Columbus Ohio by successful glass manufacturing family members George and Robert Beatty. They were one of the first glass manufacturers to use automated machinery, producing large quantities of beverage tumblers and jars. By 1914 the Federal Glass catalog included a full range of pressed glass in imitation cut glass patterns and several other fashionable designs. The company had their own mold-making department, and they manufactured a vast amount of tableware, glasses, mugs, bowls, etc, and a lot of institutional glassware for bar, hotel, and restaurant trades. They introduced their logo “the F inside a shield” in 1932. Federal Glass is known for the highly collectible lines of “Depression Glass” tableware produced in 1930-1940s. The company closed in 1979.
This is a lovely vintage set of 10 Fantasy Manhattan glasses by Federal Glass Company. What are you waiting for? Go for the gold (22 Karat gold!!) and make them yours!!

Culver Glass Company – Lavish and Opulent Cocktail ware of the 1950s – 1960s
Culver Ltd was a glass company famous for their stunning decorative glassware in 22-karat gold.
Culver Ltd was founded in Brooklyn, New York in 1939 by Irving Rothenberg. Culver Glass features real 22-karat gold decoration used effusively and magnificently especially from the late 1950’s on through the 1960’s. The company gained notoriety and its products became highly collectible and only sold at high-end department stores. In 1980, the company moved to downtown Rahway, New Jersey. Irving Rothenberg passed away in 1987 and his son, Mark ‘Mickey’ Rothenberg, continued the Culver Glass Company. Mickey ran the company until he sold Culver Ltd. in 1996 to Moderne Glass Company, Inc. Mickey Rothenberg continued in the glass manufacturing business by running another glass company until his death on 9/11. He was one of the passengers on the hijacked Newark-to-San-Francisco flight that crashed in Pennsylvania.
The company’s early production line featured acid etch, decalcomania, sandblasted, hand-painted, banded, sand-cut monogramming and silk screen. In the late 1950’s, Culver Ltd started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. The super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. By the 1980’s, Culver stopped making its own glass and began using glassware...
