Vallien has worked for decades with Kosta Boda, one of Sweden's most prestigious glassworks, and is considered a master in the art of glassmaking. His works, often inspired by existential and symbolic themes, include abstract forms, glass boats and stylized human figures. He has exhibited his works worldwide and received numerous awards for his contributions to glass art. MARK KOSTA BODA is one of Sweden's oldest and most renowned glassworks, founded in 1742 in Småland, Sweden. Specializing in the production of art and functional glass, the company is known for its quality craftsmanship and innovative design. Over the years, Kosta Boda has collaborated with leading artists and designers, including Bertil Vallien, creating works ranging from decorative pieces to contemporary sculptures.
