Émile Gallé Art Nouveau Cameo Vase With Silver Mounting, Nancy, France 1904
By Émile Gallé
Located in Vienna, AT
Bulbous shoulder vase on a flush stand, short neck piece with silver mount as a ring in a smooth, slightly flared design, on the outside opposite two fully sculptural branch and cone bundles, colourless glass with white powder meltings, overlay in blue-violet and green, meadow flower decoration etched in various stages, matt etched inside and outside. Cameo signature 'Gallé' with star on the wall between the plants. Silver mount hallmarked 'Minerve casquée' for 950 silver, France, and master's mark. Hand-made Cameo Glass: Glass overlaid with several layers, with high-cut worked out motifs. Since the middle of the 19th century, the design has also been done by etching. Baccarat Bergame Parme Gilt Etched Crystal Glasses with Paneled Stems Set of 16
By Baccarat
Located in Cincinnati, OH
This set of 16 Baccarat French crystal glasses have been decorated in the lovely Bergame pattern. Baccarat's ornate Bergame is a variation of the Parme pattern which dates to 1850. Bergame features an Empire Revival motif consisting of etched Birds of Paradise and Sea Horses along with scrolling decoration, all of which are accented in gilt. The glasses have been finished with other decorative elements including a series of vertical prismatic mitre cuts with angular tops resembling sword tips that are located immediately beneath the gilt etched decoration. The tapered paneled stems have six sides and the feet are rimmed in gold. The underside of the glasses carry the acid-etched Baccarat mark. Eight of the glasses stand 6" tall while the other eight stand 5" tall. The taller glasses can be used for water or wine while the smaller glasses can be used for champagne, port or sherbert. These hard-to-find Baccarat Bergame crystal glasses display...

Art Deco Pierre D'Avesn Green Molded Glass Bowl
By Pierre D'Avesn
Located in Prato, Tuscany
We kindly suggest that you read the entire description, as with it we try to give you detailed technical and historical information to guarantee the authenticity of our objects. Original and iconic molded glass bowl; its shape is simple and bold, cleverly proportioned, the result of intelligent aesthetic reflection; chromium oxide and iron oxide were added during glass fusion to achieve the beautiful emerald green coloration; the bowl, in the Art Deco style, was produced in France between 1930 and 1935 by Pierre D'Avesn, an artist who at that time worked at the Daum glassworks, where he developed an innovative molded glass technique, resulting in pieces of stunning transparency and brilliance like our bowl. Pierre d'Avesn was born in 1901 and initially worked at Rene Lalique for 10 years. During this time, he designed Lalique's famous "Snake" vase and the "Tourbillons" vase, two of "Lalique's" most expensive...
