About the Item

Striking design and top quality make Art Deco bowl. If you are a collector of rare and aesthetically pleasing works of Art (Deco) then this handcrafted piece by one of France's finest glass artists could be perfect. This early 20th century, highly stylish and practical size table bowl is made by master glass artist André Hunebelle and even without the maker's marks you would have seen that this is the work of a true artisan. The stylized and seemingly endless lotus flower pattern combined with the depth differences inside this pattern makes it even more artistic and impressive. This Art Deco glass bowl radiates nothing but style and true beauty and displayed on your table or sideboard it will create an atmosphere that will never fail to impress. If you like this unique Hunebelle bowl as much as we do then you will love our price. Especially when taken into account that perfect packing and worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 days are complimentary. Maximum height x diameter: 3.4 x 13.8 inches. We have a passion for the unique, for quality, for stylish yet practical and for craftsmanship of years gone by. Your purchases will be extremely well packaged and we look forward to serving you (again). You can shop all our 1000+ listings by pushing the button that reads 'View All From Seller'.

Pure Art Deco w. Stylish Geometrical Flower Glass Shade Pendant, Signed Hugue
By Hugue
Located in Lisse, NL
Another top quality, antique French pendant light with a perfect Art Deco design. This stunning and finer quality Art Deco ceiling lamp was realized by glass studio Léon Auguste Hugue (Paris, 1878 – Clichy-la-Garenne, 1970) who began his career as a bronze fitter. In 1907, he established his own bronze lighting manufacturing business at 14 rue Pierre Levée. In 1913, he created a new limited partnership, "L. Hugue, fabrique de bronzes et d’appareils d’éclairage," at number 10 in the same street. The business grew, and around 1925, he set up a factory at 68 rue des Rondeaux, where he worked with the help of his son Maurice Léon, also a bronze fitter. At the 1927 Exhibition in Madrid, he received the Gold Medal diploma alongside Francis Hubens. Strangely, in 1932, Léon Hugue...
