About the Item

This pair is part of a series of 6 'Monumenti' pepper & salt shakers, inspired by ancient buildings and monuments designed by Matteo Thun for Arzberg in 1987. Thun is a well-know Italian architect, designer, and co-founder of the Memphis Group and Sottsass Associati. Thun described this line of salt & pepper shakers as having a “mini-monumentality”. In good vintage condition with one hairline on a corner of one of the shakers. Marked on underside. Measures: 1" x 1" x 3.5" each.
