About the Item

A white "Spark" vase (model 1998) designed in the 1960s by David Gil for Bennington Potters of Bennington, VT. Produced in several sizes and glazes, this is the second largest size vase. The Spark vases are characterized by the asterisk-shaped cut-out on top, which helps in arranging flowers and echoes the company’s stamp that is found on all of its pieces. This design is a remarkable piece of functional art. In excellent vintage condition and signed on the underside. 4.5" x 4.5" x 8"
