About the Item

PRIMITIVE ANTIQUE JUG/EWER Handmade from a number of metals with a hand-hammered copper main body dovetailed with a brass base and wrought iron handle. A hugely decorative piece with great presence and form. Probably dates from the early 19th century and originates from the Ottoman Empire in Turkey. It is in good vintage condition, there is no serious damage but there is wear and imperfections throughout which add to its charm. Approximate measurements 23cm high x 19cm wide x 17cm deep.
