Georgian Antique Sterling Silver Cream Jug

An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique Georgian Newcastle sterling silver cream jug; an addition to our silver teaware collection.
This exceptional antique Newcastle sterling silver cream jug has a circular rounded compressed form onto a circular pedestal foot.
The body of this Georgian silver cream jug is plain and unembellished.
The subtly flared upper rim is ornamented with an impressive applied leaf decorated border, incorporating a plain applied molded segment to the spout's lip.
This fine example of antique silverware is fitted with an impressive cast opposing scrolling handle, incorporating a large scrolling leaf design to the thumb piece, in addition to the lower terminal.
The plain circular foot is encircled with a plain applied molded border.
The interior of this antique silver cream jug retains the original gilding.
Condition
This antique Georgian silver cream jug is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition. The applied and cast decoration is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the spout are clear in keeping with age and location; the first portion of the maker's mark and is illegible.

This fine antique George III sterling silver cream jug has a helmet shaped form onto a pedestal with a circular spreading foot and plain square base.
The upper portion of the body is ornamented with a broad band of bright cut engraved irregular undulating decoration.
The body of the jug is embellished with a pin struck and bright cut engraved decorated shield shaped vacant cartouche suspended from a stylized ribbon design.
The rim of the body is encompassed with an applied reed decorated border.

This exceptional antique Italian sterling silver jug has an oval paneled, flared form onto a circular domed foot.
The surface of this antique jug is plain and unembellished, with a matte, subtly planished finish in keeping with the patination of a piece from this period.
This impressive piece is fitted with an exceptional cast sterling silver scrolling handle, accented with a leaf design emanating from the thumbpiece, this leaf ornamentation comprises the upper terminal.
The circular foot is encircled with a band of embossed bead decoration.
