19th Century French Romantic Porcelain and Bronze Dish, Signed Émil

About the Item

Beautiful dish, a so-called 'vide-poche'. Originating from France, dated circa 1880-1900. The porcelain is hand painted with a romantic scene. There is also a small signature on 'Emil'. The richly carved bronze rim has clear characteristics of the Louis XV style.
