About the Item
This rare 19th c. hand painted cabinet plate is attributed to Minton and bears a mark for the renown London retailer A. B. Daniell & Son. The white ground provides a nice contrast and the border is decorated with gold. It measures 9" in diameter and is in excellent condition. In the traditon of Aesthetic Movement and Japonism, it features 3 leaves of different sizes and colors, a bit off-center and an amusing green bug to catch your attention. This will be a focal point of your collection!
