Circa 1550 late Ming Dynasty blue & white porcelain bowl, Chinese. Elegantly flaring rim with "Dahlia Zhara" entwined inner & outer underglaze blue decoration. For the Persian market. The tapered foot has 3 concentric rings. Porcelain firing flaws & kiln pops typical of these pieces. Rim chip & hairline. Provenance: Honeychurch Antiques, San Francisco, CA 1994, & Helen Silver Collection. 5 7/8" dia., 2.5" h.
