About the Item
A very cool and rare large vintage porcelain "Eva" vase / centerpiece pedestal bowl with candlesticks by celebrated Danish ceramicist and illustrator, Bjorn Wiinblad, circa 1987. The piece is in good vintage condition with the exception of a very hard to see chip on one of the ears (see pictures) and measure 11"W x 8"D x 12.5"H. Inspired by folk tales, the artist creates functional ceramic tablewares that are also whimsical sculptures. This fantastical sprite called "Eva" wears a splendid robe and a magnificent crown of flowers. The hand painted vessel is decorated with handbuilt three-dimensional elements. Signed and dated at the base. #4494
