A Very Rare Early 19th C. Derby Porcelain Figure of a Tiger, England Circa 1800

About the Item

A very charming & rare, naively modelled & hand painted figure of a tiger shown partially seated atop a rocaille base decorated with applied foliage & teal accents. Provenance: the underside retaining the retail decal for noted British ceramics specialist & BADA member, John Howard Antiques. In extremely good overall condition, and priced competitively in comparison to similar examples in the marketplace, which are scarce if not rare.
