XX Century Italian Solid 800 Silver Baroque style Vegetable Dish with tray
About the Item
Oval vegetable dish with tray in solid 800 silver in baroque style made entirely by hand.
The tray is oval, hammered and polished with pumice stone with a smooth bottom and embossed rim with a flower, leaf and scroll motif, typical of the baroque style.
The bottom of the vegetable dish is smooth, raised with a small double-line border.
2 handles made with the casting technique with a scroll motif have been welded to the sides.
The lid is rounded and elegant in line
The embossment made on the lid faithfully follows that made on the tray, this to give the object balance and proportion.
A removable cast knob for cleaning has been fixed on the highest part of the lid, with ribbon and leaf motifs and ending in the upper part with a rose.
