This mustard pot is fitted with a domed hinged hallmarked cover ornamented with corresponding fluted decoration in a subtle swirl design and surmounted with an impressive cast and applied bud style finial.
This exceptional example of antique silverware features an impressive cast silver figural handle, in addition to a leaf decorated thumbpiece to the upper portion of the cover's hinge.
The mustard pot opens to reveal the original gilded interior.
This exceptional antique Georgian silver mustard pot is supported by a circular pedestal foot ornamented with further fluted decoration, reflecting that to the cover.
This exceptional mustard pot is supplied with an associate antique Newcastle sterling silver fiddle pattern spoon, crafted by John Walton.
Such mustard pots of this high weight and superior gauge are highly unusual and becoming increasingly difficult to locate; this piece is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire.

The cast decoration is all very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the mustard pot and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear.
