English Sterling Silver 1890 Victorian Mustard Pot with Glass Liner and Spoon

English sterling silver Victorian mustard pot from 1890 with a gadrooned rim, sold with a cobalt glass liner and sterling silver spoon. It measures 3 7/8'' from handle to spout by 2 3/4'' in height. The spoon measures 3 1/2'' in length. Hallmarks are shown. Please feel free to ask us any questions, and please see our other listings. The body of this Victorian silver mustard pot is plain and encompassed with protruding panels, in the architectural style. This sterling silver mustard pot is fitted with a subtly domed hinged hallmarked cover, bearing a continuation of the panelled design to a central point. The cover is surmounted with an impressive sterling silver applied leaf thumbpiece. This exceptional example of antique silverware has a cast silver shaped handle, embellished with scrolling and strapwork style decoration.
