Antique Georgian Irish Sterling Silver Gravy Spoons

About the Item

An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique Georgian Irish sterling silver gravy spoons; an addition to our silver flatware collection. This exceptional pair of antique George III Irish sterling silver gravy spoons have been crafted in the Celtic Point pattern. The anterior surface of each spoon terminal is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest of a demi griffin holding a dagger. The reverse of these silver spoons are plain and unembellished with rounded heels. These impressive examples of Irish silverware are the finest of their type you could hope to acquire. Condition These antique Irish silver spoons are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each stem are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
