Edwardian Large Sterling Silver Wood-Backed Picture Frame

About the Item

Large, sterling silver wood-backed picture frame, Birmingham, England, year-hallmarked for 1913, Joseph Gloster, Ltd. - makers. Measures 12 inches high (at highest point) x 9 1/4 inches wide (at widest point) x 5 inches deep when easel is in open position. Frame will hold a photo 8 1/2 inches x 6 inches, and will show a photo 8 inches x almost 6 inches. There are a few small dints (see photos) that are commensurate with age and use. Dark areas in photos are reflections. In very good antique condition.
