English Art Deco Sterling Silver Blue White Guilloche Enamel Brush Dresser Set

About the Item

Beautiful blue guilloche enamel and sterling silver three piece brush set featuring a mirror and 2 brushes. This set was made in Birmingham England by D.M. & Co. Davis, Moss & Co. The mirror and the hand held brush are dark blue with a lighter blue accent. The brush with the handle has the same design with white accents. The difference is barely noticeable. All three pieces have a wave pattern as well as a crosshatch pattern. The mirror measures 10.5" long by 5.85" wide by .50" deep. Along the edges on the handle their are some fleabites of missing enamel. There is an area on the top section where the silver is scratches. Otherwise normal wear and tarnish. Hallmarked DM Co. - Anchor Lion Face K (1934) The hand held comb measures 5.70" long by 1.76" wide by 1.60" deep, Tiny ding on sterling edge of brush. Normal wear - light scratches and tarnish. Hallmarked DM Co. - Anchor Lion H (1932) The handled brush 9.5" long by 2.91" wide by 1.45" deep. Normal wear - light scratches and tarnish. Hallmarked DM Co. - Anchor Lion J (1933).

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. All the pieces have light scratches and tarnish. The mirror has a small deeper scratch at the top on the sterling edge and the handle has some fleabites to the enamel. The hand held brush has a tiny ding on the sterling.
