About the Item

Rare George I handled silver Kitchen Pepper shaker pot made in London in 1721. The pot of tankard shape has a flat S shape handle attached to the side and push on domed cover with pierced patterned holes. The pot has London silver assay marks for 1721 to the base along with a partially rubbed makers mark with the closest resemblance we can find being London silversmith Thomas Clark. In good condition with wear associated with age and use.
