Victorian period, sterling silver mug/cup on pedestal base, New York, Ca. 1895, Black, Starr and Frost - makers. Mug is decorated with garlands and cherubs. Interior is lightly gilded. Measures 4 inches high to top of handle x 3 inches high to edge of rim of opening x 3 inches diameter across opening x 4 inches wide from edge of handle to outer edge of rim. Diameter of pedestal base is approximately 2 1/2 inches. Weighs 6.235 troy ounces. Dark spots on silver in photos are reflections. In very good antique condition.
