Black, Starr & Frost Sterling Silver Early 20th Century Art Deco Flask

About the Item

Black, Starr & Frost sterling silver flask from the early 20th century and in Art Deco style with an elegant, geometric design. It measures 6 3/4'' in height by 5 1/8'' in width by 1'' in depth, and bears hallmarks as shown. The oldest continuously operating jewelry firm in the United States, Black, Starr & Frost also produced objects in silver. Already in 1860, the company received an order for more than $12,000 of jewelry and silverware from Edward, Prince of Wales. In 1929, Black, Starr & Frost merged with Gorham Corporation, and was renamed Black, Starr, Frost-Gorham. Please feel free to ask us any questions, and please see our other listings.
