An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage George VI English sterling silver chalice in the Arts & Crafts style; an addition to our religious silverware collection. This exceptional vintage George VI sterling silver ecclesiastical chalice has a circular rounded form onto a circular knop and tapering pedestal to a swept circular foot. The surface of the chalice has a planished finish in the Arts & Crafts style. The swept pedestal is encircled with an embossed undulating border in addition to an embossed cross pommee (otherwise known as cross pommy and croix pommée) to the foot. The circular drinking vessel retains the original gilt interior. Condition: This vintage chalice is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in exceptional condition. Full hallmarks struck to the underside are all very clear. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver goblet; an addition to our collection of wine and drinks related silverware This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver goblet has a circular bell shaped form onto a knopped stem and circular spreading foot. The body of this 1870s silver goblet is embellished with bright cut engraved foliate festoons accented with pensile leaf drops; these vertical designs form four cartouches. The cartouche to one side bears a bright cut engraved fruit design; the further three remain vacant. The knopped stem is encircled with a plain moulded border to the centre. The foot is ornamented with further bright cut engraved overlapping arch designs, accented with an applied bead decorated border to the rim. Condition This antique 1870s silver goblet is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The goblet has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. The bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp and the applied ornamentation is very sharp.
