Original box of 12 beautiful c1925 enameled glass knife rests by Maison Delvaux with Polychrome Flower Decoration.

DELVAUX was a prestigious porcelain and crystal retail store, located at 18 rue Royale in Paris. Founded in the 1880s, it specializes in the sale of everyday works of art: decorated glass, earthenware, porcelain, and services from the houses of Haviland, Montigny le Roi, Baccarat, Choisy le Roi, Fontainebleau, Sèvres, Clichy…
A decoration workshop was installed in the store where the artists present worked there...
The works of famous artists are exhibited and sold: Clément Massier, Félix Optat Milet, Jean Mayodon, Albert Dammouse, Jean Sala, Charles Schneider….
They exhibited at the Exposition des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels, Paris in 1925.
