German Rococo 800 silver coffeepot, ca 1900. Baluster bowl with scroll-mounted hoof supports. V-form spout, hinged and domed cover, and turned stained-wood handle. Ribboned garlands evocative of gallant frolics. More forthright intentions represented by the horned goat applied to the spout. Hanau maker’s stamp (Georg Roth & Co.). Gross weight: 11 troy ounces.
