Gorham Silver Soldered, circa 1870s, 5-piece Tea & Coffee Service. Each piece marked underneath. Eyptian Revival period & design. Stylized, repetitve acanthus fan & rosette borders; winged thumb rests; gadrooned finial knops. Monogram "C". Teapot: 9.5" over handle x 5.5" x 5 1/8" h.; Covered sugar: 7 1/8" over handles x 4.75" x 3.75" h. (knop dented top); Bowl: 4.75" dia., 2 5/8" h.; Creamer: 5 7/8" over handle x 4" x 3 5/8" h. (minor dent to side/bottom of bowl); Coffee Pot: 9 3/8" x 5.25" x 5.75" h.
