'Faux Bois' ceramic Tea sets of 13 pieces by Grandjean Jourdan, Vallauris France 1950s / 1960s.
Some of the pieces are marked Vallauris underneath.
The set is composed of 6 cups / 2 jars / 1 dish / 1 sugar bowl / 3 plates
Atelier Grandjean Jourdan was active in Vallauris from the 1950s to 1981. The studio was known for its 'Faux Bois' decoration, where the ceramics were painted to imitate olive wood. The set is in excellent condition and has a surprisingly and playful appearance.
