XX Century Italian Sterling Silver oval sugar bowl on feet
About the Item
925 sterling silver sugar bowl completely handmade.
The body was obtained starting from a sheet of 925 silver and shaped with a hammer until obtaining an oval bowl.
The lid was made in the same way by shaping and modeling and hammering a sheet of Sterling silver.
The inside of the sugar bowl was finished with a 24kt gold plating. 4 feet made with the casting technique were welded under the sugar bowl to raise the object from the support surface and ensure its stability.
The knob was also made in casting, with a design of scrolls, flowers and leaves and welded on the upper part of the lid.
Made in Milan - Italy in the prestigious silversmith's workshop of Pria and Sari for Arval Argenti Valenza
