American Folk Art Table Signed and Dated 1881


A most unusual and interesting American, 19th century, table having an octagonal top, recessed skirt with two drawers, on a central column which stands on a circular base with wheels. The top has a mysterious and intriguing panel veneered in exotic woods and copper code that have a hidden meaning that we have not been able to decipher. This table will be a hit and encourage speculation by everyone. We love folk art and all types of antique furnishings, mirrors, lighting and decorative accessories. Come in and see us. Table is signed "Elizur Clark 1881".
