This is a tall vintage tribal figure. A South American, carved crystal and gilt metal decorative totemic ornament, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950. Distinctive tribal figure in the Inca or Pre-Columbian manner Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order throughout Fascinating cubic form, with a fearsome facial expression Adorned with quality un-hallmarked soft yellow metal Eagle masks accentuate the head dress and earrings Holding a prominent shield with a smaller figure upon it Colourful eye details marked in polished stone Good weight in the hand at 6.69kg (14.75 lb) This is a fascinating vintage tribal figure, with a distinctive South American form and pleasingly decorative.
