Zulu carved wood double headrest with stylized human figure in middle, from South Africa.
In stylized human form within a pair of vertical columns, with triangle arms and legs and head merging with top. Red pigment on top.
It is in good condition with wear, polish and erosion from traditional use, appropriate for its age, use, and medium. Scuffs and nicks here and there. Age, wear and staining inside.
