Italian 19th Century Two-Tiers Capodimonte Porcelain Chandelier with Roses
About the Item
This magnificent antique 19th Century two-tiers porcelain chandelier has an exceptional quality. It was crafted by the renowned Italian Capodimonte pottery manufactory.
This enchanting white porcelain ceiling lamp features twelve lights (8 lights on lower tier and 4 lights on higher tier) and is fully decorated with hand-painted putti and flowers motif rendered in soft tones with gold accents throughout.
Scrolled arms with bobeche richly decorated with roses, light blue flowers, green leaves and garlands throughout, each arm enriched by a multicolored porcelain bouquet of flowers hanging finals all embellished with gilt accents. Three quite big ornately detailed cherubs figurines sit atop the center column, each holding a flower garland with smiling faces.
This impressive hanging lampshase recalls the Rococo style with its rich decoration and color palette.The golden details make this chandelier even more precious and sophisticated. Its lush garden motif intensify its exquisitely scrolling design and its sinuous shape.
A very charming and rare Italian work of art from one of the most important ceramic manufacture that will perfectly illuminate any room. The perfect eye-caatching romantic piece.
Very good condition, no chips, cracks or part missing. Newly wired and ready to hang.
