About the Item

Max Ingrand model “2064” chandelier for Fontana Arte, Italy, 1955. A gracious design composed of a warm off-white lacquered trumpet-shaped shade, a bold and thick solid brass connection ring, a beautifully curved satin glass diffuser, and at the top an elegant trumpet-shaped ceiling cup which extends the design down to the last detail. The glass is suspended within the brass ring, held in place by four refined brass supports. Crafted to the highest standards, as expected from Fontana Arte during this period. Excellent diffuse light output is provided by a royal amount of eight E27 light fittings; the light is beautifully filtered by the satin fresh mint greenish-colored glass diffuser. The chandelier comes with its original elegant brass ceiling cup and suspension rod; a longer or shorter rod in matching color and patina can be supplied upon request. Literature: Quaderni Fontana Arte No. 1, Illuminazione, p. 27. In excellent condition.
