Pair of Italian turn of the cent Louis XV st. gilt metal and cryst chandeliers

About the Item

A stunning and most decorative pair of Italian turn of the century Louis XV st. gilt metal and crystal chandeliers. Each twelve arm chandelier is centered by a beautiful facetted cut crystal ball below a striking foliate gilt metal reserve with lovely leaves and an exceptional array of teardrop shaped crystal pendants. The cage and arms display exquisite branch like designs with wonderfully executed pressed metal leaves adorned with rosettes and additional outstanding crystal pendants leading to scalloped crystal bobeches. Above is the most attractive foliate top crown decorated in a similar manner with additional pressed gilt metal leaves and delicate crystal pendants.
