Modest size, but great design Art Deco chandelier from 1920. Most Art Deco antiques are very geometrical and 'strict' in design. This beautiful chandelier is most definitely from the Art Deco era, but it has an elegance about it that makes it stand out from anything we ever saw. With early 20th century light fixtures being one of our specialities we immediately appreciated this unique piece, because the overal design combined with the natural materials out of which she is created makes it simply gorgeous. The hand carved out of nutwood, Art Deco flower and leaf motifs at the centre of the wooden body is one of the striking features that make this handcrafted pendant so attractive. The elegantly shaped arms with the alabaster shades and the original, hand knotted ropes are two other great elements. For us to have found this unique pendant felt like a blessing and for it to be in this amazing condition more than made our day. The wonderful wood, the natural mineral stone shades and the hand knotted rope, they complement each other perfectly and the design is so well balanced that this chandelier will never fail to impress. Thanks to its small size this work of beauty will also look great in the living room or kitchen of a small(er) apartment. Mind you, this unique light is rewired for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and our fair price even includes perfect packing and also worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 to 6 workdays.
