Custom Sconce with Italian 18th Century Gilt Sun Ray Fragment, Shade Included

About the Item

An Italian gilt ray wood fragment from the 18th century, re-purposed as a wall sconce. This light fixture from Italy has been made from a carved and gilt wooden sun ray fragment, wired with a single light near center top, as not to visually block the fragment, and fitted with halved linen shade. The beautiful gilt wood has a nicely aged patina, and small areas of loss, showing it's rich history and age. This Italian ray sconce has been newly wired for the US. Shade is included at no additional charge.
