19th Century Italian Fragment Table Lamp in Painted Cream with Gilt Accents

About the Item

A 19th century Italian fragment table lamp. This table lamp has been fashioned from a 19th century Italian fragment which has been mounted onto a newer Lucite base. This lamp features a three dimensional fragment carved with fluting, ball trimming and a curved overhanging top. The lamp is gilded and has old cream toned paint, which has lovely chippy bits and characteristics of aging throughout, all raised upon a rectangular-shaped Lucite stand. The backside of the lamp is undecorated, therefore would be perfectly placed on a table against a wall. This Italian fragment lamp has been rewired for the US.
