French 19th century Charles X st. Calacatta marble, Bronze and Ormolu lamps

About the Item

A stately and high quality French 19th century Charles X st. Calacatta marble, patinated Bronze and Ormolu lamp. This wonderful candelabra mounted into a lamp is raised on a triangular Calacatta marble base with concave sides. The Ormolu platform above is surrounded by a Rais de Coeur band below three handsome lion pawed supports decorated with acanthus leaves. The supports connect to an elegant foliate Ormolu mount richly decorated with scrolls and acanthus leaves below the patinated Bronze central support. Above is an acanthus leaf spray below the three reeded and foliate accented arms, which surround the central fut displaying an additional foliate candle cup.
