About the Item
A spectacular and large scale pair of French mid 19th century Louis XVI st. Alabastro Fiorito and ormolu urns mounted into lamps. Each lamp is raised by a square base above half round ormolu feet. The alabaster socle is elegantly decorated by an ormolu berried laurel band. The egg shaped alabaster body is richly decorated by swaging ormolu floral garlands held by a ring. On each side of the urn are handsome rams heads below the pierced ormolu neck. The urn is finished with the two tone signature Cedric DuPont Antique silk pin tuck shades.
