This early Arts and Crafts fixture is practical in size and the design is simply gorgeous. Both with the light switched on and of, this stylized tree design is an absolute joy to look at and its shiny brass surface is as good as can be. The organically geometrical base with the embossed motifs reveils the kind of workmanship that the Arts and Crafts era is known and collected for. For this antique lamp not be marked by its maker is hard to understand, because it is too good not to be. For changing the bulb you can simply take off the satinated glass shade. This superb glass shade, by the way, is satinated so that you cannot see the bulb inside, but also to spread the light more evenly and less bright (so that you can look into it) Furthermore, this truly excellent condition Arts and Crafts gem has been professionally rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well. The most beautiful cord and a vintage, yellowish bakelite on and off switch perfectly complement the stylish design and wonderful materials that this antique is made of. When purchased by an American client we will even attach an American power plug so that this striking and classy table lamp can be used and enjoyed upon arrival.
