About Portal Triptych Floor Mirror from Outside View Collection Design by Ricardo Guedes exclusively for October Gallery Customizable Floor Mirror Materials: Polished Brass, Leather, Mirror Glass Dimensions: H 195 W 60 D 60 cm / H 77 W 24 D 24 in Outside View Collection Limited Edition of 24 + 1 AP Handcrafted in Portugal Signed, Numbered and Certificate of Authenticity From plural religious and historical traditions to transversal artistic backgrounds, the triptych has long been a form of devotion and wonder. A captivating and mysterious piece, connecting body and imagination, as if al the answers were on the other side of the mirror. An object of worship with an apparent trivial function, yet evoking mystery. In this era of egotism, the guilty pleasure of mirror gazing turns into a ritual with its own time and place. The Portal is a neo-renaissance object, intimate and personal, becoming a doorway to our reflection. This full length floor mirror is in polished brass and coated with leather upholstery, covered with mirrors inside. The piece belongs to the Outside View Collection, a limited edition of 24 pieces designed by Ricardo Guedes for October Gallery, entirely made in Portugal and manufactured in an artisanal way, in which every step of the process is carefully executed. This collectible design piece is handmade-to-order and can be customized in terms of scale, materials or finishes. This piece includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Portal Triptych Floor Mirror was presented at Design Shanghai at Collectible Design Hall - by October Gallery. Please note: All images correspond to the artist's proof (prototype). Some changes may vary for the final version. October Gallery products are one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces. Each work has its own unique attributes which are impossible to replicate identically from piece to piece due to human factor of finest craftsmanship.
