About the Item

Art Nouveau Psyche Mirror in Walnut and Alabaster, 19th Century France This late 19th-century Art Nouveau psyche mirror is a beautiful example of the period’s design, crafted from rich walnut and delicate alabaster. The mirror also features an elegant, finely grained leather cord, framing the glass, enhancing its organic and fluid aesthetic. This psyche mirror showcases the signature sinuous lines and natural motifs typical of the Art Nouveau movement. The piece is reminiscent of the style and works by famous Art Nouveau artists such as Louis Majorelle and Hector Guimard. Please note : the glass has several scratches and minor imperfections, reflecting its age and adding to its historical charm. A very decorative piece with a combination of luxurious materials and exquisite craftsmanship !
