About the Item
Scorned lovers have always been the subject of novels, plays, operas and many other forms of art of course including music. However, how often do you see this depicted in a trumeau mirror? I have never seen this subject matter ever shown on a trumeau mirror and yet here we are. The mirror is in good condition with some warpage to the canvas and normal age appropriate wear and signs of use. The mirror dates to the 1920s era and is French.
