A beautiful and most decorative pair of Italian 19th century Louis XVI st. giltwood sconces. Each five arm giltwood sconce displays a stunning and intricately detailed pierced backplate with charming oak leaves and acorns with scrolled, tassels, a violin, and a paint pallet tied by a beautiful ribbon. The five elegantly scrolled arms are each adorned with a fine leaf and lead to mottled foliate candle cups and bobeches. All original gilt and wonderful attention to detail throughout.
