Pair of Italian 19th Century Giltwood and Mirror Three-Arm Sconces
About the Item
A spectacular and very high quality pair of Italian 19th century giltwood and mirror three arm sconces. With elaborate S scroll shapes and finely carved detailed busts of the nymph Syrinx and Greek god Pan. At the bottom is an elegant C scroll carving below the three spiral arms. Above are stunning pierced carvings throughout revealing the mirror back plate. At the top of each figure is a spectacular C scrolling carved acanthus leaf. With all original gilt throughout.
